​Character Descriptions

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein – Male. Brilliant brain surgeon, professor and grandson of mad scientist Dr. Victor Von Frankenstein. 

The Monster – Male, age indeterminate. The misunderstood creation of Dr. Frankenstein. Must be able to emit howling/monster/grunting sounds. 

Igor – Male/Female.  Frederick’s faithful, bright-eyed, eager servant and friend–with a hunchback. 

Inga – Female. Frederick’s bubbly, not-so-bright young assistant. A resident of Transylvania. Yodeling is a plus.

Elizabeth Benning – Female. Self-loving, “madcap”, boisterous fiancé of Frederick. 

Frau Blücher – Female. Intense, stern housekeeper of Frankenstein estate. Former girlfriend of Victor Frankenstein. 

Inspector Hans Kemp – Male/Female. Head of the police in Transylvania, with a wooden arm and leg. Justice-driven. 

Blind Hermit – Male. Lonely, poor, blind town hermit longing for a friend. 

Ensemble Cast - This group will portray gravediggers, villagers, passengers, mad scientists and various supporting roles. A TON OF STAGE TIME
